Eyescrapers (2024)

We created our kinetic installation Eyescrapers to keep an eye on the Kunstkade and the surrounding area, for the Kunstkade 2024 edition. In 2026 we moved them to the entrance of our studio complex De Havenloods in Utrecht. The Eyescrapers are there as a highly visible reminder of the many inconspicuous CCTV cameras and other forms of hidden surveillance in the city. This eye-catching swarm looks around freely, moving with the wind, giving each eyeball its own personality and making the group look different each time you see them. Why not come take a look and get looked at by the Eyescrapers if you’re in the neighborhood!
